Kristin Gallagher, MS, FNP-C

Welcome to Our Practice!
I’m excited to welcome new families — and reconnect with familiar ones — as we grow our primary care practice with a strong focus on pediatrics. With nearly two decades of experience in healthcare in our region, I am deeply committed to supporting the well-being of our community’s children and families.
In addition to providing primary care, you may also see me working in the Rome Health Emergency Room. I’m certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and I bring these emergency care skills into the clinic to offer expanded services — including suturing and splinting for minor injuries — helping families avoid unnecessary ER visits whenever possible.
As someone with a growing family in this community, I understand how important accessible, compassionate care is. I look forward to helping break down barriers to healthcare access — whether it’s for routine physicals or urgent needs — and partnering with families to keep their children healthy and thriving.
There will be bumps in the road, but we’re here for you — ready to care for your family and grow together as we learn alongside you.

I’m thrilled to begin this next chapter as co-founder of Generations, caring for children and families in the community where I was raised. I’m especially grateful for the trust families have shown in continuing their care with me—whether from my time in Barneveld, in Rome, or now here at Generations. That continuity means so much to me and remains the foundation of how I approach pediatrics today.
I’ve been practicing since 2012—spending my first ten years in Family Practice before specializing in Pediatrics, where I’ve found my true calling. I believe that excellent care starts with strong relationships, and I do my best to focus on listening, explaining, and supporting families through every stage. As a Certified Lactation Counselor and mom, I especially enjoy guiding parents through the newborn stage.
I studied at SUNY Geneseo, the University of Rochester, and SUNY Institute of Technology. Beyond clinical care, I support graduate nursing education by precepting nurse practitioner students. I hope to someday teach a course at one of our local universities to help prepare the next generation of NPs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our golden retriever. My daughter and son keep me active and inspired, while my parents remain an important source of support and encouragement in my life. Family time, travel, fitness, and Disney adventures are some of my favorite ways to recharge.
Nicole Marchesani, MS, FNP-C

I’m honored to help launch Generations as both a co-founder and NP, serving the community where I was born and raised. With more than 20 years of nursing and advanced practice experience, I look forward to building lasting connections and supporting the health and well-being of adults and families in our area.
While I’m trained to care for patients across the lifespan, my focus is adult primary care, with a special interest in wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management.
My nursing career began in surgical services, where I also served as a peri-operative coordinator, helping patients navigate their surgical experience and care. Later, I transitioned into advanced practice, working as a nurse practitioner in gastroenterology before founding and operating my own concierge-style primary care practice. That experience gave me the opportunity to focus on accessibility and long-term relationships, values I now carry into Generations. I also enjoy teaching as an Adjunct Professor for MVCC, mentoring the next generation of nurses.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of two and grandmother of two, with another grandchild on the way. I love cooking, shopping, and spending time with my family and dogs. Creating a welcoming space for patients and families is what excites me most about Generations Family Health.
